By far our most popular event of DogFest 2023 - Dock Diving is back for 2024!

Dogs compete in jumping for distance from a dock into a body of water. If your dog is a strong swimmer and loves fetching tennis balls, this is the event for them!

The Arena is where you will find all of your demonstrations, , Agility training, Games and more!

On the Main Stage, we will have Fashion Shows on throughout the day showcasing the best leads, harnesses and styles for your dog! We will also be hosting Dogs Got Talent showcasing your furry friends best tricks!

Is your dog a diamond in the ruff? Take them to DoggyWood!

Our professional pawtographers and pet portrait professionals will make sure your pup looks fetching!

From treats to leads to artwork for your pup, Vendor Alley has everything you need to treat your dog at DogFest!

Go for a W-A-L-K down Vendor Alley and pick up some amazing products for your dog.

Puppy Paradise is a place for your pup under 6 months old to socialise with other pups.

Puppy Paradise is a closed off, secure area to let your puppy off lead and play with other pups.

DogFest is all about tail-wagging fun for your pup. With all the games, events, shows and more, your dog will need a place to to chill out and get pampered.

The Pamper Zone will have mobile groomers ready to pamper your pup!

FAQs

  • DogFest is a fun day out for all! We encourage dogs to come along and have a fun day out with their family. We do ask you to familiarise yourself with our Animal Welfare Guidelines to make sure that this event is the right fit for your dog.

  • Yes, you can still attend if you are unable to bring your own dog! DogFest is both a fantastic day dog owners as well as dog lovers! There will be plenty for you to do, including watching amazing demonstrations and fun activities.

  • Please check if your dog is on the restricted breed list here - https://www.ispca.ie/Control_of_Dogs_Regulations_1998

    If your dog is on the restricted breed list, please familiarise yourself with the guidelines on leashing and muzzling under the Control of Dogs Regulations.

  • We will have designated dog waste bins around DogFest. Please familiarise yourself with yourself with policies on dog fouling here - https://www.corkcity.ie/en/council-services/services/dogs-animal-welfare/dog-fouling.html More information can be found here

  • Take your dog outside and give them space away from other dogs , people and crowds.

    Offer them some water and reassurance with some treats and praise. Try a taking a short walk or lay down on a grass patch or at our chill out area .

    If your dog is not taking food and still appears stressed then they might have had their fill of dog fun for the day.

  • Make contact with one of our team members, who will be wearing our “Dog Fest 23 ” T-shirts.

    We will seek out the appropriate professional to assist you and your dog.

  • Dogs that are frequent swimmers should join in our water activities. Not all dogs enjoy jumping, diving or even swimming.

    Your dog’s breed - like water spaniels or golden retrievers -doesn’t guarantee that they are born water babies or enjoy swimming. Your know your dog best as their parent so please don’t but them under any unnecessary stress or risk.
