Cork City Students Gear Up for the 2025 Student Enterprise Programme Christmas Market!🎄
Get ready for a burst of creativity and Christmas spirit as Cork City’s young entrepreneurs join the festive buzz here at the Marina Market, on Thursday 11th December from 10am to 2pm, for the annual Student Enterprise Programme Christmas Market.
Over 300 TY secondary school students from across Cork City will showcase their brilliant business ideas, handmade products and clever innovations to shoppers and a panel of judges. The event, run in partnership with the Local Enterprise Office Cork City, gives students a chance to turn their ideas into real-world businesses and be part of one of Cork’s most popular Christmas markets.
The Student Enterprise Programme Christmas Market is a fantastic opportunity for them to share their hard work with the public and experience what it’s like to run a real business. It’s set to be a fun and festive day celebrating innovation, community spirit and the amazing talent of Cork’s young entrepreneurs!

Landrover Christmas Run 2025
The annual Cork Landrover enthusiasts Xmas run is happening on Saturday the 13 of December. Registration for the event will take place from 15:30 with the drivers / safety brief to start at 17:45. The first of the Landrovers set to leave the market/quay side at 18:30.
This year we are doing the event for the rainbow club and children’s ward in CUH. Donations of toys etc appreciated. Landrovers of all sizes and shapes welcome. Prizes for best dressed and lit up Landrover, best dressed crew, best dressed driver/pilot and a prize best kept to the day.

The Dragon Experience
Get ready for a roaring adventure at the Marina Market this October with The Dragon Experience. A live show for the whole family featuring smoke breathing animatronic Dragons and playful puppets.
Step into a world of fantasy as the Marina Market is transformed into a dragon sanctuary. Watch as the dragons come to life before your eyes from Draven the wise forest guardian to Ember the tiny flame breather and Nadder our breathtaking full sized Dragon with roars, smoke and magical surprises, The Dragon Experience is a family show designed to entertain and amaze. After the performance families will have the chance to meet the dragons up close, capture magical photos and gently interact with them under staff guidance.
Show Times:11:30am, 1:00pm & 2:30pm. Each show runs for approximately 30 minutes followed by a meet & greet and photo opportunity with the dragons.
