And now the folk behind Cork’s bustling Marina Market are offering young entrepreneurs the chance to make their dream a reality.

“The Marina Market is looking for young entrepreneurs under the age of 18 to enter our Young Entrepreneurs programme.” the market organisers said in an Instagram post.

“We want to find and promote any young person who has an idea and a dream. As part of the programme you will be able to sell your product or service from the Marina and find out loads on branding, websites, marketing and much more.”

Whether you’re a dab hand at jewellery making or you’ve come up with a hot new take on the cold lemonade stand, this could be an excellent opportunity to learn on the ground and build a successful company before you’ve even finished the Leaving Cert.
